Peter Jones

Sensei Peter Jones holds a sixth dan black belt in Aiki-Jujitsu, sixth dan black belt in Kempo Jujitsu, third dan black belt in Kickboxing, first dan black belt in Wado Ryu Karate, first dan black belt in Taekwondo and black belt in Modern Aikido.

He has been awarded the honorific of Shihan by the British Kempo Society and thus wears the traditional white-and-red belt (kohaku obi.)

In 2007 he became world champion in the 16-to-30 year old third dan black belt and above category for kata performance at the Kempo International World Championships. This was followed by being awarded Instructor of the Year for the international organisation to whom we formerly belonged. In 2018 he won a Continued Excellence award at the British Martial Arts awards. In 2019 and 2023 he was inducted into the United Kingdom Martial Arts Show Hall of Fame and in 2021 the Black Belt Hall of Fame.
